Live Events Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month At New Rochelle Library
There will be a virtual tour of the Cesar Chavez National Monument on Thursday, and a live guitar concert on Friday.

On Thursday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m., the New Rochelle Public Library, in partnership with other Westchester Library System libraries, will present a virtual tour of the Cesar Chavez National Monument. Widely recognized as the most important Latino leader in the U.S. during the twentieth century, Cesar Chavez led farm workers and supporters in the establishment of the country's first permanent agricultural union. Today, the National Park Service preserves his home, and the headquarters of the United Farm Workers in Keene, California, as the Cesar E. Chavez National Monument.
