Mugging Victim Hit On Head, Stabbed In Back, Suspects At Large
The suspects are described as 3 Black men wearing dark clothing. New Rochelle police are asking the public to help with their investigation.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A brutal mugging early this morning left a New Rochelle man injured.
The New Rochelle Police Department says that on Monday morning, around 7:15 a.m., they received a call from Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital about a man who had walked in with a stab wound to his back.
Officers responded to the hospital and interviewed the 43-year-old man, who told them that he was hit on his head and knocked to the ground by three men. He said the men demanded that he give them his money and he handed over approximately $13. The man said that he noticed some blood, but did not feel any pain.

The suspects were described as Black males wearing dark clothing, who then fled in an unknown directions.
Following the incident, the victim went home and told his wife what happened. She noticed that he had been stabbed in the back and the victim then went to the hospital.
