Man Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run in New Rochelle
Police are searching for a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck in connection with the incident.

A 37-year-old Bronx man suffered serious injuries Saturday when he was struck by a red Toyota pickup truck in New Rochelle, and police are now looking for the truck and the driver.
The Journal News reports the hit-and-run occurred just before 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of North Avenue and Quaker Ridge Road. The victim is being treated at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital.
Police said the driver of the Toyota and victim had been in an accident, and the victim exited his car and then was hit and run over by the truck and dragged several feet.

The driver of the Toyota is described as Hispanic, and the truck has a hood air scoop. Anyone with information is urged to contact the New Rochelle Police Department at 914-654-2230.
