"Marry Me A Little": Sondheim Comes To The Ossie Davis Theater

The musical revue, directed by Westchester's own Stephanie Scuderi, will be presented by the Limelight Theatre Company for one night only.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — If pandemic isolation has you feeling like you're missing out on human interaction, a chance to see the spirited musical story detailing the romance of two star-crossed lovers who haven't actually met might be just what the doctor ordered.

Limelight Theatre Company will present two live performances of Stephen Sondheim’s musical revue "Marry Me a Little" in concert. The show features the talents of Joshua Shea Coates and Sarah Milnamow.

"Marry Me a Little" is a charming, but bittersweet musical revue about two urban and single strangers who share a Saturday night of sweet fantasies and deep yearning while never leaving the confines of their solitary apartments, and never knowing that they’re just a floor away from each other.

The unlikely couple breathe new theatrical life and meaning into a collection of Sondheim trunk songs that were culled from, among others, "Anyone Can Whistle," " Follies," "Company," "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" and "A Little Night Music."

The musical revue is directed by Westchester's own Stephanie Scuderi, with music direction by Broadway music director and pianist T.C. Kincer.

Two performances will take place at the Ossie Davis Theater in New Rochelle.

The special Feb. 27 concert event will have two showings at 3 p.m and 7 p.m.

General Admission seating ranges from $25 to $39. Tickets can be purchased through the Limelight Theatre Company online box office.
