Mercy College To Leave College Of New Rochelle Campus
Mercy College wanted a presence in New Rochelle to aid the transition for students of the former College of New Rochelle.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Mercy College, which leased space at the former College of New Rochelle campus, will be moving out this summer. Mercy agreed to a lease for up to two years as a way to help the transition of CNR students when the latter institution closed.
The annual rent for the New Rochelle campus, as well as CNR space in Harlem and Brooklyn, was set at $1.8 million, the Journal News reported.
Mercy paid upfront for 16 months of rent.

In November, trustees of the Masonic Hall and Asylum Fund won an auction for the College of New Rochelle campus. The fund bid $32 million for the 15.6-acre property.
