More than 600 Con Ed Customers Face Power Outages In Wake Of Storm Tuesday

Severe weather during the day took out electricity for some customers.

WESTCHESTER, NY — A line of severe weather pushed through the Hudson Valley leaving scattered power outages around Westchester County. According to the Con Edison website, as of 5 p.m. Tuesday, there were 44 outages affecting 614 customers.

Hardest hit was New Rochelle with 364 customers without electricity. The estimated time for restoration is 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Town of Yorktown has 71 customers without power. Con Ed estimates they will all be back on line by 11 p.m. Tuesday.

In Mount Vernon, there are 54 customers reporting an outage. They should be turning on the lights by 7 p.m. Tuesday.

White Plains and Peekskill have around 30 outages, with restoration estimated at 10:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively.
