The Moth Radio Hour started as a live storytelling event in 1997, evolving over time into a Peabody Award-winning radio program airing on 570 stations nationwide and a weekly podcast that is downloaded over 100 million times each year. The appeal of the Moth is simple: It showcases true stories, told live and without notes, that illuminate both the diversity and commonality of human experience.

How popular is it? Last year was the FIRST time The Moth had held one of its events in lower Westchester and tickets sold out two weeks before the show!

"We are delighted to have The Moth return to New Rochelle for ArtsFest," says Lynn Green, Vice President of the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, "and we look forward to another great evening of storytelling."
