New Rochelle Among Best School Districts In New Rankings

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Data compiler Niche released its new list, 2019 Best School Districts In America, last week. New Rochelle was high on the list.
To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
Each district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

New Rochelle received an overall grade of A. In fact, it received all As except for a B+ in Academics, a B in Administration, C+ in Food, C in Health and Safety and a B in Resources & Facilities. It was ranked No. 134 in New York and No. 982 out of almost 11,000 school districts in America.
