New Rochelle Annual Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza Is Set

The "egg-citing" free event will take place at three different parks and there will be a visit from the Easter Bunny.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — It's time to start planning for the Easter Bunny's visit to New Rochelle. Spots are limited, so hop to it before Peter Cottontail hops on down the bunny trail.

The annual New Rochelle Parks & Recreation Eggstravaganza will be held at three different parks on Saturday, April 9.

The 45-minute free event is for toddlers through second graders and will be held at Five Islands Park, Hudson Park and Davenport Park (pick one) at the following times:

  • Five Islands Park: 10 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
  • Hudson Park: 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Davenport Park: 12:30 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.

There will be treats and an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny.

Registration is required. This event is for New Rochelle residents only and is first-come, first-served. The registration form can be found here. Receipt of confirmation will be required for admission.

The rain date for the event will be Sunday, April 10.
