New Rochelle Breaks Ground For Boutique Hotel Downtown

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle officials joined principals of 43 Church Street LLC for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new boutique V Hotel in downtown New Rochelle, part of Choice Hotel’s worldwide ‘Ascend’ Collection. The eight-story V Hotel will feature 80 luxury guest rooms and amenities including a full-service restaurant and bar, meeting space, an exercise room and open lounges, according to a city spokeswoman.

Mayor Noam Bramson, City Manager Charles Strome III, Councilman Ivar Hyden and Development Commissioner Luiz Aragon attended the groundbreaking, congratulating 43 Church Street LLC developers owner Varghese Ninan and Chief Development Officer Abraham Philips.

Robert Stanziale, AIA, Architect and Jon Butler, General Contractor were also in attendance.

New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson said the new boutique hotel will be a wonderful addition to the community and region and will help the city realize its vision for a culturally and economically vibrant downtown.

“Another big step forward for New Rochelle,” he said.

The V Hotel is expected to open in late fall 2018.
