New Rochelle Chamber Announces 2016 'Woman of Excellence' Honorees

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The honorees for the 14th annual Woman of Excellence Dinner have been announced by the New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce.

The dinner will be held September 29, 2016, at Beckwith Pointe in New Rochelle.

This year’s honorees are Jeanne Zaino, Iona College political science professor; Cindy Gallagher, vice-chairwoman of WVOX and WVIP; Catherine Francese, director of religious instruction at Holy Name of Jesus Church, and Tara Roseblum, a News 12 anchor and reporter who has won 15 Emmys.

At the dinner, there will also be the presentation of a scholarship to a Young Woman Leader of Tomorrow and a special tribute to former honorees.

Bob Marrone, the chamber’s executive director, said the organization has awarded over the years an elite club of women of excellence.

“This year we hope to recognize all of these special women in a unique way,” he said.
