New Rochelle City Hall Sends Out Storm Advisory
No emergency alert is being planned at this time, a city official said.

The following was issued by the City of New Rochelle regarding the impending storm:
A coastal winter storm is predicted for our area with snow, high winds and high tides forecast for early Saturday morning into Sunday. As conditions deteriorate, please avoid driving and exercise caution while outdoors. Where possible, please move cars off the street to facilitate better snow plowing.
Power outages may occur and should be reported directly to Con Ed at 1-800-75-CONED (1-800- 752-6633) or online at www.coned.com, where you can also view an outage map. Downed trees should be reported to the New Rochelle Police desk at 654-2300.

After the storm, please assist the New Rochelle Fire Department by removing snow around the fire hydrants in your neighborhood. And, help the Public Works Department by not shoveling snow back into the street- pile it up curbside instead.
