New Rochelle Considers Amending 'Large Scale Retail' Ordinance

New Rochelle officials are considering an amendment to the city code to allow banks in Large Scale Retail zones.

Currently, big box stores, houses of worship, government buildings, various recreational facilities and restaurants are among the permitted uses.

The City Council will listen to public comments on the matter during a hearing this evening, Oct. 7, in City Hall.
