New Rochelle Council Members, Mayor Give Themselves One-Time Raises
The money comes from surplus funds in the city's coffers.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Using surplus funds, the New Rochelle City Council has given its members pay raises.
The one-time raises go into effect January 1, 2017, and at that time council members will make $38,941—up from $33,941—and the mayor will get $100,818, up from $88,971, the Journal News said.
