New Rochelle Domestic Dispute Leads To Felony Gun Arrest Of Bronx Man

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A domestic disturbance on a street corner led to gun and child welfare charges, according to police.

On Thursday, shortly before 1:30 p.m., New Rochelle police were called to a domestic dispute on the street at the intersection of North Avenue and The Boulevard. Police determined there were no injuries as a result of the disturbance, but they did find that a 21-year-old Bronx man involved was in possession of a Raven Arms Model MP .25 caliber handgun.

Christopher J. Bunting was placed under arrested at the scene. Bunting was charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon. He was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
