NEW ROCHELLE, NY — "Democracy is a very fragile thing," playwright Sam Shepard famously wrote. "You have to take care of democracy."
There are plenty of upcoming chances to help tend to our democracy close to the roots. Several public meetings are scheduled for this week in New Rochelle.
- City Council Regular Legislative Meeting - Dec. 12, 6:15 p.m.
- Historic and Landmarks Review Board - Dec. 14, 6 p.m.
All meetings are in City Hall, located at 515 North Ave.
