New Rochelle Library Sets Summer Hours

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Summer hours are going into effect at the New Rochelle Public Library. The main library will be closed Sundays through Sept. 1. The Huguenot Children's Library, which is always closed on Sunday, will now be closed on Saturdays from June 29 through Aug. 31.

The main library's Saturday summer hours are 10 a.m to 2 p.m. from June 29 through Aug. 31. Both libraries will be closed for Independence Day Thursday, July 4 and Labor Day Monday, Sept. 2.

Summer hours at the Main Library are as follows:

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday — 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday — 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (beginning June 29 through Aug. 31)
  • Sunday — Closed through Sept. 1

Summer hours at the Huguenot Children's Library are:

  • Monday and Thursday — 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday — 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday — Closed through Aug. 31
  • Sunday — Closed
