New Rochelle Main Street Children’s Costume Parade Set For Saturday

It's not just a parade. TreatsFest and specials at downtown restaurants are part of the fun as the town readies for the spookiest night.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Main Street will be haunted with ghouls and goblins howling with delight as the promise of treats sends the horde of costumed fiends parading before celebrating with a ball fit for monsters big and small.

The New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District (NRBID) will be kicking off the annual Main Street Children’s Costume Parade on Saturday, at 10 a.m. The fun will begin near Monroe College’s Main Hall near Main St. and Harrison Ave., and will end with a TreastsFest at Ruby Dee Park at Library Green.

The NRBID is collaborating with local businesses and community organizations to present the TreatsFest at the end of the parade. Children, friends and families will be able to enjoy candy and treats, dancing with a DJ, Halloween photo ops and games.
