New Rochelle Man Accused Of Driving Drunk
Police said the man had a blood alcohol content more than twice the legal limit.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A New Rochelle man was accused of drunken driving early Sunday morning on I-95. The New York State Police said Marco A. Lopez Ramirez, 31, of New Rochelle, was stopped while driving on the interstate in the city of Rye around 3:25 a.m.
Police said he was intoxicated, and he was taken into custody.
Ramirez was processed at the New Rochelle barracks where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.20 percent — more than twice the legal limit.

He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, along with several vehicle and traffic violations.
Ramirez was turned over to a sober third party and release on appearance tickets to return to the City of Rye Court Aug. 18.
