New Rochelle Man Arrested After Foiled Home Burglary
He fled from the scene when a resident came home.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A foiled home burglary Thursday morning led to the arrest of a 26-year-old New Rochelle man. Police said Najib M. Hood broke into a Davenport Avenue home but was surprised when a woman resident came home.
Isaac E. Young Middle School and Trinity Elementary School were on lockout as police searched for Hood, who was taken into custody around 2 p.m., the Journal News said.
