New Rochelle Man Sentenced in Child Sex Assault
The defendant was working at a day-care center when the abuse occurred.

A New Rochelle man was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a child at a day-care center.
Isaac McKnight, 24, of Webster Avenue, will go to state prison for 12 years, Acting Westchester County District Attorney James A. McCarty said.
McKnight entered a guilty plea March 1, 2016, to one count of first-degree criminal sexual act, a felony.

He was working at a Village of Tuckahoe day-care center as a part-time assistant.
On November 5, 2015, he sexually assaulted a 4-year-old at the center.

McKnight was arrested November 12, 2015, and arraigned.
He was remanded to the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections.
Along with the prison sentence, McKnight will have to undergo 15 years post-release supervision and register as a sex offender.
