New Rochelle Passes School Budget
The proposed school budget is $250.1 million. The city's library budget also was adopted.
New Rochelle voters approved the 2015-16 School District Budget of $250,121,473 Tuesday by better than a two-to-one margin, according to preliminary results.
Maddali Paci Atallah and Lianne Merchant also were voted to the Board of Education.
The New Rochelle Public Library Budget of $4,815,408.47 also was passed by a two-to-one margin.

Three trustees also were elected to the New Rochelle Public Library Board, Charles F. Burke, Jr., Damon Maher and George K. Walters.
