New Rochelle Police Make Arrest In Dunkin' Donuts Armed Robbery

A realistic-looking pellet gun was found during a search of the suspect's residence, police said.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — An arrest has been made Dec. 20 in the armed robbery at the Dunkin’ Donuts in New Rochelle. Police detectives arrested Patrick Felix Menezes, 24, of New Rochelle and charged him with second-degree robbery.

The armed robbery took place at the store located at 96 East Main St.

Port Chester and North Castle police detectives were notified due to recent similar robberies that occurred in those jurisdictions.

Menezes is being held pending arraignment.

A statement released by the New Rochelle Police Department said, “Our detectives, who have worked diligently on this case, developed information to identify a possible suspect vehicle. This led them to the suspect who was taken into custody just after midnight. Detectives executed a search warrant of the suspect’s home this morning and located a realistic-looking pellet gun believed to have been used in the commission of the robbery.”
