New Rochelle Reminds Residents Of New Restaurant Closing Hours
Also, an outdoor coronavirus testing site is moving across the street for the winter.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A robocall by Mayor Noam Bramson was sent to New Rochelle residents alerting them to the imminent changes in closing times for bars, restaurants.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo mandated that bars and restaurants will have to close for in-person service between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. effective Friday.
Takeout and delivery will be permitted during the overnight hours.

Additionally, the robocall told residents that gatherings at private homes, whether indoors or outdoors, are limited to no more than 10 people.
In preparation for the winter season, the outdoor coronavirus testing center on Lockwood Avenue was relocated across the street to 39 Guion Place, which is next to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital emergency room.

"COVID cases are rising throughout our region," Bramson said on the call. "Please protect yourself and your family by wearing a mask, keeping your distance and washing your hands frequently. Let's each do our part to control the virus."
