1. When did your business open? 2015

2. How did you come up with the name? I decided to use my own name, in an effort to promote myself as an artist.

3. Why start a business in this town? I live in this town, I am a sole proprietor.

4. What business are you in? I am an artist, certified librarian and graphic designer.

5. What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced starting a new business? As a sole proprietorship, it can be somewhat lonely and one has to really network in order to gain the respect that larger businesses tend to automatically receive.

6. What’s one highlight you've had since opening? Since opening, I have booked my first solo exhibit coming up in the spring of 2018. I am also MWBE, DBE certified, which is quite an accomplishment for a new entrepreneur.

7. How does your business give back to the community? I love inspiring others, I give back by showing others how to build their brands as small business owners, by advising them about their corporate identity. I also use my skills as a librarian to provide information and resources.
