New Rochelle Throws Community A Baby Shower
Moms-to-be and new moms were showered with maternal and early childhood resources, as well as gifts, games and food.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — MOMSROC of the New Rochelle Youth Bureau and Nepperhan Community Center-empowerYOU celebrated 50 local mothers at the first Community Baby Shower earlier this month at the Hugh A. Doyle Center in New Rochelle. The Community Baby Shower was designed to help make a difference in the lives of new families, through sponsorships, gifts or donations.
“We wanted every mom to leave with something, whether it’s meeting another parent or coming out with a piece of knowledge that maybe they didn’t know,” said Kelly Johnson, New Rochelle Youth Bureau executive director.
