New Vendor Taking Over Glen Island Harbour Club Operations
The county promises a seamless transition for clients who've booked the club.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Westchester County Executive George Latimer and the Westchester County Board of Legislators have approved the assignment of the remainder of the lease term of Glen Island Harbour Club to Homestyle Hospitality, Inc. The club had been operated by Continental Hosts, Ltd., since 1997, but Homestyle Hospitality, Inc., will be taking over the operation of the facility starting Tuesday, Nov. 20.
Latimer said that clients of the facility, who have had parties booked, will experience a seamless transition.
"That was our goal." he said. "Unfortunately companies come and go, but brides and grooms only have one shot at their special day. Our intention with this deal was to save current clients from emotional stress and economic loss and we have struck that balance.”

Under this newly brokered deal, the current on-site manager at Glen Island will remain with Homestyle. This is the on-site employee who has direct contact with all upcoming groups that have contracts with the Harbour Club. Also, under the deal, the executive chef, kitchen staff, wait staff and others are also staying on, making this a seamless transition to clients, according to a spokesperson.
Homestyle has partnered with Westchester County as the exclusive caterer for high-end events at the County Center including Westchester Knicks Games, New York Liberty Games, Westchester Hall of Fame Dinner and Westchester Parks Foundation Gala. Homestyle is also the exclusive caterer for events at Dunwoodie Golf Course, which is home to many non-golf events such as weddings, graduations and bar mitzvahs.
