North Avenue Bridge Construction Means Traffic Pattern Change Necessary in New Rochelle

Entry to the Transit Center will not be possible from North Avenue.

New Rochelle, NY — There will be a change in traffic in August around the New Rochelle Transit Center and the Metro-North train station.

According to information provided by the city, future construction of the North Avenue bridge will necessitate a new traffic pattern.

Beginning sometime after August 1, Station Plaza North will be limited to one-way traffic from Memorial Highway.

Entry to the Transit Center will only be available via Memorial Highway; access from North Avenue will not be available.
