NYC Restaurant Week Reservations Being Accepted

There are 375 restaurants in all five city boroughs that are offering discounted three-course meals during the Winter 2018 promotion.

There’s good news for foodies. The eateries that are participating in NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2018 are now accepting reservations. There are 375 restaurants in all five city boroughs that are offering discounted three-course meals.

The promotion begins Jan. 22 and runs through Feb. 9.

Participating restaurants will offer three-course prix-fixe menus for $29 for lunch and $42 for dinner. Organizers said that a few of the eateries may offer their prix-fixe menu on Saturdays, but the majority does not.

Reservations are highly recommended, but the NYC Restaurant Week menu is offered to everyone, including walk-ins.

Included in the prix fixe is a minimum of three choices for appetizers, three choices for entrees and at least two desserts. Some restaurants may also offer drink specials, supplemental items and other a la carte options for an additional price.

Beverages, tips and taxes are not included in the promotion.

To give you an idea what is being offered, Sarabeth’s Central Park South is offering a choice of Escarole Salad, Hawaiian Kampachi Crudo or Short Rib Arancini for apps; Duck Meatloaf, Pan Seared Chicken Breast or Braised Calamari and Clam Stew for the main course for its lunch menu.

Dessert is a choice between Carrot Cake or S’mores in a Jar.

Quality Eats in the West Village has a dinner menu that offers House Caesar Salad, Hamachi Tostada, Shiitake Soup, Roasted Beet Tabbouleh or Grilled Nueske’s Bacon for appetizer.

Main course choices include Chimichurri Grilled Salmon, Patty Melt Club Burger, Lemon-Charred Chicken and Leg of Lamb Steak.

For dessert, you can choose between Birthday Cake — chocolate malt ice cream, confetti cake with vanilla icing — or S’more —burnt marshmallow ice cream, graham cracker shortbread and fudge swirls.
