Parolee, 3 Juveniles Nabbed In Stolen Car With Illegal Gun: NRPD

All four of the suspects are from the Bronx. The 18-year-old is currently on parole for attempted murder, according to New Rochelle police.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle police again took an illegal gun out of the hands of teenagers today, according to officials.

On Thursday, shortly before 2 a.m. New Rochelle Police Department detectives were notified that a stolen car was spotted near Main Street and Kings Highway. Detectives found the car at the BP gas station located at 819 Main St.

When police approached the car, all five occupants fled on foot. Four out of the five suspects were soon apprehended and taken into custody. A fifth suspect remains at large.

Tyshon Spencer from the Bronx was arrested on felony charges of criminal possession of a weapon and felony criminal possession of stolen property. The 18-year-old is currently on parole for attempted murder, according to police officials.

The juveniles, all from the Bronx, were arrested on the same charges, according to police. The names of the underage male suspects are being withheld due to New York juvenile arrest laws.
