Paving Could Delay Traffic on Weaver Street
The highway work will begin, weather permitting, Tuesday, Aug. 21.

Advisory from the state Department of Transportation:
Motorists are advised that the New York State Department of Transportation will be paving on Route 125 (Weaver Street) between Stratton Road in New Rochelle and Hazelton Drive in Scarsdale beginning Tuesday, Aug. 21 until Wednesday, August 29.
Weather permitting, alternate lane closures can be expected on weekdays, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.
Travelers are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver’s license.
