NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Tragedy struck during the evening commute.

The New Rochelle Police Department says that it is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that took place on Wednesday, at 4:12 p.m., at the intersection of North Avenue and Lockwood Avenue.

A woman was killed when she was struck by a utility box truck while crossing North Avenue.
