'PickleRage' Takes Over The City With A Brand New Indoor Pickleball Club

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The first PickleRage in New York is opening soon in Westchester County, for players of all levels.

PickleRage, an indoor pickleball club franchise, announced it will be opening its New Rochelle location on March 26, at 173 Huguenot Street.

Owned by friends and "passionate pickleball enthusiasts," Henry Sztul and Brian Snyder, the location will reportedly be the largest, dedicated pickleball complex in Westchester County.

The 42,000-square-foot, climate-controlled facility will have 13 regulation-size courts with joint-friendly CushionX surfaces, advanced LED lighting, locker rooms with showers, and state-of-the-art smart court technology, including video recording and livestreaming capabilities.

"We're thrilled to be a part of New Rochelle's continued downtown growth and bring our passion for pickleball to Westchester," Sztul said. "Pickleball provides a really great way to get out and stay active, especially after such a debilitating winter where so many of us stayed inside."

PickleRage will offer year-round programming, led by certified pickleball instructor and coach developer Geoffrey Jagdfeld. With over 30 years of racquet sports leadership and coaching expertise, Jagdfeld will oversee coaching for all skill levels, in addition to leagues, tournaments, clinics, open play and private lessons.

Tiered monthly and annual membership options will allow for priority booking windows, discounted court fees, complimentary open play, and exclusive member events. Founding memberships are currently available at reduced rates ahead of the club's Grand Opening celebration in early April.

"In addition to pickleball, we offer three Full Swing golf simulators, a fully stocked pro shop, and a comfortable players' lounge," Snyder said. "We're also proud to be the first PickleRage franchise to introduce an upgraded amenity package, featuring locker rooms and showers!"

PickleRage was founded in 2023 by a group of pickleball enthusiasts who saw a need for dedicated indoor facilities for year-round enjoyment of the sport.

The company said that the New Rochelle location is a key part of the brand's national expansion, with over 500 locations planned to be opened by 2030.
