Pinebrook Tennis Center To Open For Limited Play

Players will be limited to one hour of play, unless courts are not busy.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Tennis players have something to look forward to in New Rochelle. The Pinebrook Tennis Center will open for limited use/single play only Saturday, May 16.

Organizers said the hours through June 26 will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (dusk) Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. (dusk) Saturday and Sunday.

Due to coronavirus restrictions and public health guidelines, the New Rochelle Department of Parks and Recreation is adhering to the following rules until further notice:

  • Residents only — no guests
  • Single play only — no doubles
  • No lessons, including private
  • Restrooms are closed
  • No congregation: removal of chairs and benches. All players should leave immediately after play
  • While waiting to play, please remain in or at your car
  • Players are limited to one hour of play, unless courts are not busy
  • There is no daily fee to play if you do not have a valid tennis card. If your current card has expired or you wish to purchase a new card, please contact the Parks & Rec office to schedule an appointment: 914-654-2087
  • Bring your own water bottles/no water fountain access
  • Social distancing should be practiced at all times
