Gunfire Rings Out On Bee-Line Bus, 18-Year-Old Is Wounded
Breaking: Yonkers police are assisting Westchester County Police with the shooting on a Bee Line Bus #4, Friday evening.

YONKERS, NY — One person was wounded when gunfire broke out on a Bee-Line bus in Yonkers.
The Yonkers Police Department is on scene assisting Westchester County Police with a shooting that happened on Bee Line Bus #4 at South Broadway and Ludlow Street, at 5:02 p.m. According to officials, there is one reported 18 year-old victim with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities said there is no threat to the public at this time. Police officials have not yet reported any arrests connected to the shooting.

Westchester County police said the bus was stopped at a bus stop when several shots rang out on the bus and an 18-year-old man was struck. The wounded victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his legs and is being treated at Jacobi Hospital in the Bronx.

The circumstances of the incident are under investigation by WCPD detectives with assistance from WCPD patrol officers and the Yonkers Police Department.
