New Rochelle voters steadily made their way to the polls Tuesday to decide who will be mayor for the next four years and five contested City Council races.

No problems were reported at the Doyle Senior Center, according to poll workers. It was the same at United Methodist Church on North Avenue.

After voting at Trinity Elementary School, New Rochelle resident Al DiZenco said he was disappointed in council members who aren't very visible in the community.

"The councilmen should get around," he said, "and talk to people more about New Rochelle."

DiZenco said Mayor Noam Bramson, who is running for his second full term, should "show his face around."

He said there should have been more debates.

"More issues should have been brought up," DiZenco said, "and let people know about things in New Rochelle."
