Power Outages Down to 2K In HV, Most Expected Online Sunday
A nor'easter on March 2 was followed by another one March 7.

A little more than 2,000 Hudson Valley electricity customers are waiting for power to be restored Sunday afternoon. Two massive and destructive nor’easters plowed through the region in less than a week, taking down trees and power lines.
There are more than 1,300 Con Edison customers are still without electricity Sunday as of 2 p.m. Even though the outage map is only showing a summary for New York City, the Con Ed website said it “expects to complete the restoration of customers in Westchester affected by two major storms by tonight, March 11.”

There are 1,029 O&R customers without electricity, 1,006 of which are in Rockland County. The remaining 23 are in Orange. The utility said it estimates restoration by 11:59 p.m. Sunday, March 11.
NYSEG is down to a handful of customers still waiting for the electricity to come back on. There are 19 in Orange County, four in Putman and four in Westchester.

The 19 in Orange are all on Pleasant Avenue in Walden. The power company is assessing the estimated time of restoration.
The three customers in the Town of Kent are still be assessed. The one customer in Putnam Valley should have had power restored by 1 p.m. Sunday, March 11.
The four customers in Bedford Hills without power are still be assessed.
