Ridgewood Banks To Hold Shredding Service Events
The service will be held at many of its branches throughout the New York metropolitan area.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Ridgewood Savings Bank announced that free document shredding events will be held at many of its branches throughout the New York metropolitan area over the next five months, including two in Westchester. On Saturday beginning in May and continuing through October, Ridgewood will partner with USA Shred to offer the service at no cost to members of the local community.
Participants can bring up to five boxes of sensitive documents — paper files, old bills and canceled checks — to Ridgewood branches per the schedule so they can be shredded and disposed of securely.
The branch in Yonkers will hold the event Saturday, June 29. New Rochelle's branch will have the shredding event Saturday, Sept. 28.
