Robotics Tournament to Be Held in New Rochelle
Participating teams including The Harvey School from Katonah and BEST, Inc. from New Rochelle.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Area students, including some from Katonah and New Rochelle, will be battling it out at the BEST Inc.’s Third Annual Open Robotic Tournament Saturday, Feb. 27.
The competition will be held at Bethesda Baptist Church of New Rochelle’s Family Life Center, 71 Lincoln Ave.
Twenty-one teams, including one from The Harvey School in Katonah and one from BEST, Inc. in New Rochelle, will be battling each other with robots created from VEX Robotics.

The tournament is one of a series supported by the REC Foundation and national, regional and local sponsors.

Competition season culminates in the spring with the top performing state and local teams competing against each other at VEX Worlds.
Practice rounds and skill challenges will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by qualifying rounds and finals form 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The public is invited to the free event.
