Husband Charged 6 Years after Wife Found Dead in Bathtub
Shele Danishefsky Covlin, 47, was found dead in the couple's Manhattan apartment in 2009. New Rochelle native Rod Covlin has been arrested.

Roderick Covlin, 42, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with his wife’s 2009 killing, according to media reports.
Shele Danishefsky Covlin, 47, was found dead in a bathtub in the couple’s Manhattan apartment, her death initially was ruled as accidental, writes the Daily News.
Suspicions mounted, however, and her body was later exhumed, which showed evidence she may have been strangled, reports The Journal News.

Roderick Covlin, a New Rochelle native, was arrested at the Scarsdale train station Sunday by detectives from the NYPD.
He and his wife were in the midst of divorcing at the time of her death, and she was about to cut him out of her will, according to the Daily News.

Covlin attempted, unsuccessfully, to claim his deceased wife’s estate, estimated at $4 million, and to cash in on a million-dollar life insurance policy.
