Rye, Harrison and Mamaroneck Lead the Pack in Snow Totals

The storm wasn't as bad as predicted, but it still left a good amount of the fluffy, white stuff in some Westchester County communities.

The potentially “historic” snow storm that descended on the Hudson Valley Monday into Tuesday turned out to be less than advertised. But five Westchester communities recorded double-digit snow totals, according to the National Weather Service.

Rye and Harrison led the way with 11 inches each, while Mamaroneck was a close second at 10.5 inches.
