Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Westchester County

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Westchester County until 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27.

Additionally, the watch resulted in a Hazardous Weather Outlook reinforcing the warning.

“When we factor in the humidity on Wednesday… it will likely feel over 90 degrees, and that will set the stage for strong to severe thunderstorms late Wednesday afternoon and evening,” writes Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
