'Sing Your Heart Out' Chorus Back For New Rochelle Library Encore

Saturday's performance will be the culmination of months of preparation by the "Sing Your Heart Out" Singers Workshop.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Not since Moody Blues has a group of musicians been more aptly and evocatively named. When you truly sing your heart out, jubilation has easy access to what makes you tick.

But, come see for yourself.

The "Sing Your Heart Out" Chorus, directed by Robert Puleo, will perform a joyous and uplifting program of music this Saturday, from noon - 1:15 p.m., in the Ossie Davis Theater.

The chorus of adults 55 year old and up has been practicing every week since the spring, preparing for another emotionally charged concert. Under Robert Puleo' direction, the vocalists and instrumentalists will perform a concert of diverse music celebrating and exploring life, friendship, love and community. The audience will even be invited to join in and sing with the group for certain songs.

“Sing Your Heart Out" was made possible by the Lillian Robbins - Rick Englander Memorial Fund. The event is free, but donations will gratefully be accepted at the door.

The Ossie Davis Theater is in the New Rochelle Public Library, located at 1 Library Plaza.
