Some Con Ed Customers In The Dark Thanks To Storm Sunday

Heavy rain and strong winds were in the forecast with nor'easter.

The storm continuing to move northward through Westchester has produce a few power outages as of 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Along with the heavy rain, winds from 25 to 35 mph were forecast with wind gusts up to 65 mph. There were only 756 Con Edison customers, out of more than 348,000 without power.

The estimated time of restoration county-wide is 11:30 p.m Sunday.

Hardest hit is the Town of Mount Pleasant with 301 customers in the dark.

The Village of Pleasantville has 180 customer without power, with New Castle at 91 and Port Chester at 80.

White Plains has 48 and Cortlandt has 15.
