Special Weather Statement Issued This Morning for Westchester
Visibility could be difficult in spots.

The National Weather Service issued a Special Weather Statement Tuesday morning warning Westchester residents about lingering “patchy, dense fog” throughout the region.
Visibility on roadways could be affected through midday:
WHILE VISIBILITIES ARE MAINLY FROM 1 TO 3 MILES ACROSS THE TRI- STATE...THERE ARE STILL PATCHES OF DENSE FOG THAT WILL LIMIT VISIBILITIES TO 1/4 MILE OR LESS AT TIMES THROUGH AROUND MIDDAY. BE PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING VISIBILITIES...SLOW DOWN...USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU IN CASE A SUDDEN STOP IS NEEDED.
