'Spirit of Songcatchers' Benefit Brunch Set for Oct. 25

The New Rochelle organization lives its mission of "Reaching for Peace Through Music" by offering an array of music programs.

The New Rochelle music organization Songcatchers is sponsoring its “Spirit of Songcatchers” Benefit Brunch on Oct. 25 to “celebrate many years of bringing affordable music lessons to children from New Rochelle and surrounding communities.”

The event will be held at Greentree Country Club (538 Davenport Avenue, New Rochelle, NY) and will begin at 11:30 a.m. Brunch will be accompanied by musical entertainment provided by Songcatchers’ students, volunteers, alumni, and other friends of the organization. Tickets are $85 per person.

Tributes will be paid to the following for their significant contributions to New Rochelle and surrounding communities: Barbara Davis (Historian for the City of New Rochelle and Community Relations Director for the New Rochelle Library); Butterflies from Jodie (local nonprofit organization providing defibrillators to local schools and needy organizations); Patricia Ketcham (former Arts Magnet Facilitator for the City of New Rochelle School District).
