Still Time to Get Rid of Your Christmas Tree
City crews will pick up the Christmas trees from the curb.

New Rochelle residents have a couple more weeks to get rid of their Christmas trees.
Sanitation crews will cart away discarded Christmas tree through the month of January.
According to the City's Web site, Christmas trees must be stripped of tinsel, lights and ornaments and should not be put in a plastic bag.

All tress must be placed at the curb by Feb. 1. After that date, the next opportunity for collection will be during yard waste collection beginning in the spring.
