Summer Must be Here, New Rochelle Farmers Market Opens This Friday
"Give me farm fresh corn, or give me death."Get ready for another season of local, farm-fresh selections at the Thomas Paine Cottage Museum.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle Down To Earth Farmers Market at the Thomas Paine Cottage Museum opens for the season June 3.
The New Rochelle Down To Earth Farmers Market, founded in 2009, will bring small, local farms and small-scale food makers to the Thomas Paine Cottage Museum on Fridays, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., from June 3 until October 28.
Customers will be able to shop for locally grown fruits and vegetables, pasture-raised meats and eggs, local seafood, honey, small-batch baked goods, pickles and much more.

SNAP EBT is accepted and users should stop at the Manager's Tent to make a withdrawal and get tokens to spend at the market. Fresh Connect Checks will be available. WIC/Seniors checks can be used at the farm stands through November.
