Summer Sounds Concert Series Auditions Under Way

The New Rochelle Council on the Arts (NRCA) is now accepting applications for bands to play in their 2023 Summer Sounds Concert Series at Hudson Park.

These iconic free concerts take place every Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9:15 pm at the Historic New Rochelle Hudson Park Bandshell, located at Hudson Park on the shores of the Long Island Sound. All performers are paid, and a sound system, sound tech and lighting are provided. NRCA also schedules food trucks each week.

ELIGIBILITY:
Professional musicians performing all genres of music are invited to apply. Successful applicants will have experience performing onstage for a live audience.

ALL submissions MUST be made through this link. No other submissions will be considered.
IMPORTANT: All applications must include a link to at least one recent performance and a photo that can be used to promote the performance.

DEADLINES:
Applications are due by 11:59 PM, on February 10, 2023.
NO LATE SUBMISSION WILL BE ACCEPTED.

NOTIFICATION
We will let you know if you have been selected no later than March 31, 2023. Performance dates are Wednesdays from June 28 to August 30.
