WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Commuters in Westchester County are going to want to allow some extra travel time coming and going this week, even if the spring weather remains mild.

The New York State Department of Transportation said there will be disruptions on a major Westchester County highway. One lane is expected to close along the Hutchinson River Parkway northbound, between Exit 13 (Mamaroneck Avenue) in Scarsdale and Exit 14 (State Route 127) in Harrison. The work will take place weekdays beginning Monday, March 27, through Wednesday, May 31, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The scheduled construction work is weather permitting and could change, according to the NYSDOT.
